Favorite Cheap Halloween Costumes!

Favorite Cheap Halloween Costumes!

Here at my house, we love Halloween! We love dressing up, trick-or-treating, corn mazes, decorating, egg nog, and Nightmare Before Christmas! My husband refuses to watch scary shows, so Harry Potter is about as scary as it gets in our house, so Halloween for us is all fun. However, finding the perfect costume can be time-consuming and expensive. I want to help you focus on the fun and not stress about the cost of that perfect costume. Below are some of my favorite inexpensive, DIY, or reusable costume ideas. And don't worry, I don't sew. This page contains ads/affiliate links. See my full disclosure for details.

Viraltag Review – Social Media Scheduler

Viraltag Review – Social Media Scheduler

One of the top things that made me hesitant about starting a blog was dealing with social media. I'm not exactly "social" or really on social media and honestly, I don't really want to be on there very much. But social media is a major key to having a successful blog. You can write amazing posts but if nobody is reading them then what's the point? You have to get yourself you there and there's no better way than Pinterest! Even before I began My Income Journey, I loved Pinterest. If I needed birthday party ideas, Pinterest! Decorating tips? Pinterest! How to make money from home ideas? Pinterest! Now that I have a blog I love Pinterest even more! About 70% of my traffic is from Pinterest. It's amazing!! If you have a blog, website, business, or any online presence you are missing out if you aren't taking advantage of the awesomeness of Pinterest! This page contains ads/affiliate links. It was nice to stock up on cereal, shampoo & conditioner, cheese, and get a few treats like popcorn and pirate booty for so cheap. The bread we like was also on sale for .99 plus I had an ibotta rebate that brought it down to $.75 so grilled cheese sandwiches here we come! This page contains ads/affiliate links. Blogging Tip – Grammarly

Blogging Tip – Grammarly

I recently installed a very useful writing tool that I want to share with you. It's called Grammarly. As a blogger, I am always trying to publish useful and helpful content. However, I am not an English major or professionally-trained writer. In fact, I'm a math/p.e. major which is about as close to opposite as you can get! So it's a bit intimidating to be writing articles and getting paid for writing when I've never considered myself a writer. I love blogging, I want to share my passion for making money from home, but one English class in college is about as far as my training as a writer goes. That's why I'm excited to share this awesome writing tool with you! Grammarly is a browser plugin that makes sure everything you type is easy to read and mistake-free. It's free, easy to use, and can find errors that most other programs miss. It checks blog posts, emails, documents, social media posts, etc. It's challenging to proofread your own content, so I'm very thankful another blogger recommended Grammarly to me.
