Today was another fun day of grocery shopping! My couponing highlights includes spending $33 for $106 worth of groceries! That’s 67% savings on some really great products including orange juice, herbal essences, clorox wipes, and more! In order to get these great deals I use a combination of clipped coupons, printed coupons, store sales, and mobile rebates. When you combine all these resources you can end up with amazing savings. For a detailed explanation, read my article “How to Coupon Without the Extreme”.

Just today I added a few new grocery saving apps to my phone and I’m loving them so far! I’ve been using ibotta and still highly recommend them. Today I used ibotta on orange juice, bread, milk, and bananas. My new money saving apps are Checkout51 and MobiSave. They are both similar to ibotta. You simply scan your receipt and they give you money back through Paypal or mailing you a check. The Checkout51 app had a $2.00 rebate for Nutella, plus I had a coupon for $2.00 off Nutella so I ended up makin $0.21 on the Nutella I bought today. Score! Plus I got rebates for milk and yogurt through them, that’s milk rebates from two sources today! On MobiSave I got rebates for the jam, strawberries, orange juice (again), bacon, potato chips, bananas, and ice cream. Most of these rebates are for any brand so it isn’t that difficult to have the savings add up. If you aren’t using ibotta, checkout51, or MobiSave, install them on your phone and give them a try. They’re free and easy to use!

Here’s my detailed spreadsheet on the items from my shopping trip today.
