Today I want to show you a bit of my shopping trip. I got over $67 worth of groceries for under $20! That’s over 71% savings. I bought other things while shopping (of course) and my overall savings was about 45%. These 21 items featured above were my top savers so I’m highlighting them here. It was nice to stock up on cereal, shampoo & conditioner, cheese, and get a few treats like popcorn and pirate booty for so cheap. The bread we like was also on sale for .99 plus I had an ibotta rebate that brought it down to $.75 so grilled cheese sandwiches here we come!

This page contains ads/affiliate links. See my full disclosure for details.

Below is a detailed spreadsheet on how much I paid for each item. It shows you the retail price, what I paid, and the percentage saved. I am able to save this much by taking advantage of store sales, using ecoupons, clipped newspaper coupons, and printed coupons. I also get money back after shopping by using apps such as: ibotta, checkout51, mobisave, and berrycart. To read a detailed explanation on how to get started couponing, read my article, “How to Coupon Without the Extreme”.

Even if the only things you eat are fruits, vegetables, milk, and bread, you can still save money with the rebate apps. Today I got the following rebates: $.25 for bananas and $.25 for bread from  ibotta (any brands), $.10 for berries, $.10 for laundry soap, $.10 off 1 dozen eggs from mobisave.  Check out my post about how to use these apps and which ones are my favorite here. Happy shopping!!
